Don't worry man, you're not the only one with issues. Got my laptop taken away because I no longer believe in any sort of religion so I have to do all my animating at school now when I can. But I'm sure everything will work out in the end. As for the sound thing I have no freakin' idea; I usually use flash 8 and I use CS3 at school but I have never, (according to my memory), dealt with CS4. The sound always stopped when I wanted to in flash 8 however, so their must be a setting for that. Since you have a newer version of flash you should still be able to find help on the Adobe site. If not just Google it.
P.S.
I've also been having sound problems but only when I export. When I export the sound quality goes to shit, what's up with that? If you have any sort of knowledge on what I may be doing wrong please share. I know it's not my mic, it gives me pretty good sound quality when I listen to the sound files themselves. What it might be is that I'm using MP3's but I'm not sure. Do I require a higher quality sound file? Or is the quality too high for flash 8 to handle?
